Inigo Torres
MOst
Liz is a fully registered Osteopath and Sports Massage Therapist based in Tooting Broadway, South London. She trained at the University College of Osteopathy — one of the UK's most respected osteopathic institutions — and has been helping patients recover, perform, and move pain-free for over a decade.
Originally from Spain, Liz competed nationally in Taijutsu and at a high level as a long-distance cross-country runner. That lived experience of physical demand, injury, and recovery shapes everything about her approach — whether you're dealing with sports injuries, postural strain, or chronic pain. She treats every patient with the same precision an athlete expects. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
“I want every patient to feel heard — not just treated. Understanding your body is the first step to healing it.”

In Her Own Words
From athlete
to healer
My journey into osteopathy began through sport. Having competed nationally in Taijutsu in Spain and trained seriously as a long-distance cross-country runner, I understood first-hand what it felt like when your body stopped cooperating — and more importantly, the extraordinary difference that the right treatment makes.
That personal experience led me to the University College of Osteopathy, where I trained for four years before graduating with my Master of Osteopathy in 2017. Since then I've continued to grow, adding qualifications in sports massage, acupuncture, Reiki, and advanced manual therapy techniques.
My approach starts with a thorough diagnosis — because without understanding the root cause, you're only ever treating symptoms. Depending on what I find, I'll use a combination of joint manipulation, soft tissue work, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, or muscle energy techniques, alongside tailored rehabilitation exercises to support your recovery at home.
I also see many patients dealing with work-related postural pain — if you're at a desk all day, a workstation assessment and ergonomic advice can be genuinely life-changing. My focus remains on getting you back to the activities you love, whether that's competitive sport, daily training, or simply moving without pain.
“I am passionate about empowering my patients to understand their bodies and experience the gentle power of the healing arts. I strive to bridge the gap between Western medicine and alternative therapies, within a safe and nurturing environment.”

Thorough Diagnosis First
Before any hands-on work, Liz takes time to properly understand your history, lifestyle, pain patterns, and goals. A precise diagnosis is not just the starting point — it is the foundation that makes every other part of the treatment work.
Bridging East & West
As both an Osteopath and Massage Therapy Practitioner, Liz bridges conventional Western medicine with complementary approaches. Joint manipulation sits alongside Reiki; myofascial release alongside acupuncture — all in a safe, well-evidenced clinical environment.
Empowerment Through Understanding
Lasting recovery doesn't only happen in the treatment room. Every session includes guidance on posture, ergonomics, and exercises you can do at home — because the more you understand your body, the better equipped you are to protect it.
